Technology is the key to opportunity. At Adaptive Mobility Systems, Inc. (AMS) they are constantly unlocking doors that were once closed to our friends and customers. These innovations enhance the lives of those conquering limited mobility. The professionals at AMS have the keys to mobility conversion vans and disabled equipment. They take pride in maintaining the latest technology established by the mobility industry association, National Mobility Equipment Dealer's Association (NMEDA). Not only is AMS a NMEDA member they are also in the Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
The AMS lowered floor conversion is built according to NMEDA QAP guidelines by certified welders. Once the quality control team completes the final inspections a RADCO label is then applied to the finished product. Their professional commitment is to provide you with strong, simple and safe conversions with the equipment necessary to facilitate an active lifestyle.
RADCO Certification
- Adaptive Mobility Systems, Inc. is part of the NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealer's Association) Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
- NMEDA QAP requires semi-annual independent inspections. These inspections are done to assure quality practices in engineering, welding, installation, training of employees, insurance, and record keeping.
- RADCO conducts each inspection. Every conversion receives a RADCO label that ensures each step has been performed according to NMEDA guidelines and good practices.
- AMS is presently the only lowered floor conversion company that builds mobility vans under NMEDA QAP guidelines, complete with the RADCO label.
Crash Test Certification
Did you ever take a test without studying? Do you remember how fragile and nervous you felt? You will never have to feel that way behind the wheel of your accessible van, because AMS has studied and taken the test for you. They are committed to making their converted mobility vans strong, simple, and safe.
- AMS Conversion units were crash tested at Transportation Research Center in East Liberty, Ohio - one of the top-rated testing centers in the USA.
- In January 2000, we initialized production and built fully crash test- certified lowered floor minivans with resounding success.
Keeping you safe is their first priority. That's why they invest in crash test certifications for their strong, simple and safe conversions. The AMS conversion van is built in Norcross, GA, and each successive model has been fully crash tested to meet Federal safety standards. The certification is on file with RADCO. The test is over and the results are in. You are safe with AMS.
